SCOPE

Kinetics and Catalysis (Kinetika i kataliz) was founded in 1960 by the prominent Russian scientist Academician G.K. Boreskov, together with other outstanding specialists in kinetics and catalysis, including Professors V. V. Voevodskii, A. A. Balandin, S. Z. Roginskii, and V. N. Kondrat’ev. This journal is a Russian periodical that currently publishes theoretical and experimental materials on homogeneous and heterogeneous kinetics and catalysis. Other topics include the mechanism and kinetics of noncatalytic processes in gaseous, liquid, and solid phases, quantum chemical calculations in kinetics and catalysis, methods of studying catalytic processes and catalysts, the chemistry of catalysts and adsorbent surfaces, the structure and physicochemical properties of catalysts, preparation and poisoning of catalysts, macrokinetics, and computer simulation in catalysis. The journal also publishes information on scientific conferences held in the Commonwealth of Independent States, as well as surveys by leading researchers on contemporary problems in kinetics and catalysis. The editorial board also welcomes contributions from foreign authors.

Kinetics and Catalysis is abstracted and/or indexed in:
Academic OneFile, Academic Search, ChemWeb, Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS), Chemical and Earth Sciences, Chimica, Computing and Technology, Current Abstracts, Current Contents/Engineering, Current Contents/Physical, EBSCO, EI Encompass, EnCompassLit, Gale, Google Scholar, INIS Atomindex, Journal Citation Reports/Science Edition, OCLC, Reaction Citation Index, ReadCube, Reaxys, SCImago, SCOPUS, Science Citation Index, Science Citation Index Expanded (SciSearch), Summon by ProQuest.

Guidelines for Authors

Author's Agreement Form

To simplify interaction between author(s) and publisher, please submit copyright transfer agreements (in the Russian or English language) together with the manuscript to the editorial board of the journal. The copyright transfer agreement can be sent as a digital copy of the original (this is preferable) or as a paper copy. The copyright transfer agreement should be filled out using MS Word or hand-printed and signed by all authors (coauthors and copyright holders).

These agreements are contracts of adhesion.

A copyright transfer agreement enters into force if a manuscript is accepted for publication in English. If for any reason your article is rejected by the editorial board of a journal, the agreement loses its force. The decision on acceptance of a manuscript for publication is the exclusive right of the editorial board of the respective journal. By signing the agreement, the authors guarantee that they have familiarized themselves and agree with its conditions.

The editorial boards of journals do not accept manuscripts without copyright transfer agreements.

All questions regarding copyright transfer agreements can be sent by e-mail to dogovor@maik.ru. You can use our web-based feedback form or contact the editorial board.
